Implementación de un sistema de información gerencial enfocado hacia la automatización de procesos.

Abstract

Management information systems have been technological tools that add competitive advantage and reduce the costs of companies regardless of whether they are public or private, since their purpose is to automate and synthesize processes. The municipalities in Ecuador have been considered autonomous and independent institutions, therefore the incorporation of the systems is adapted according to their needs. In order to carry out this study, the objective was to prepare an improvement proposal for the GAD Piñas Land System through the analysis of its inputs, processes and outputs, in order to minimize costs. The methodology of the investigation has been descriptive, analyzing concepts related to the problem for the interpretation of the same and realization of a proposal that was achieved through four phases. Among the results, it was obtained that the Piñas GAD only manages a system to manage the urban properties being a macro process that involves eight processes of which an opportunity for improvement was identified in the subprocess of Predio a pagar. From what has been analyzed in the present investigation, it has been concluded that the Predial System analyzed can transfer labor costs to a fixed cost of innovation in the system, allowing to optimize the staff's attention capacity without the need for the incorporation of more workers.
