Diagnóstico local turístico del cantón Huaquillas, provincia de El Oro.

Abstract

The purpose of this research work was to publicize the natural and cultural attractions in the City of Huaquillas, through a proposal for situational diagnosis of the Canton, in the Province of El Oro, Ecuador. For the realization of this research, the Exploratory-deductive type was performed; the interview was also used as an instrument, hierarchy sheets for attractiveness and direct observation to know the status of resources and their administration in order to obtain valid information for the development of the same. A process was carried out to collect information in the field work in different periods of time, the first was the direct observation of the attractions, in the second period, information was collected through Cards provided by the Ministry of Tourism. the research carried out, gave us as a result that the Huaquillas canton has tourist potentials and a plant and optimal tourist infrastructure to receive the tourist, but due to the lack of promotion and management of the authorities, such as the Municipal GAD, it does not have projects of tourism development, nor have a sustainable management plan to control and manage the income of tourists and care for them.
