Abstract

The development of the practical work of complexivo way, is based on the possible implementation of the Technique Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) in Spanish identified as change of array in minutes from a digit, the same that was created as an improvement in quality for the production of enterprises which produce in greater amount, reducing the wasted time that frequently occurs at the time of any change or adjustment in the machines. Through the realization of an interview given to know if applies or does not apply SMED, in a manufacturing company dedicated to the Industrial Mechanics Escapes Carrión, where there are challenges of speed in the production system due to the fact that in its nature of work requires high flexibility for the creation of different batches of products. The speed of response depends largely on the ease that is obtained at the time of the necessary adjustments, and limit the time inappropriate. Through advances in technology and the competitiveness given today in the international financial institutions, it is very important to generate procedures or techniques presented in this case study that help carry a better order that contributes in a positive way facilitating income and benefits to companies, working staff and customers.
