Abstract

Ecuador is a country that has been characterized as the exporter of an important non-renewable natural resource such as oil, its significance at the economic level is relevant because most of its income has a direct relationship with the increase or decrease in price of oil, however the oil industry has not given the respective significance to various factors that greatly affect the most vulnerable groups such as ethnic groups that have inhabited the Ecuadorian Amazon for many years causing diseases, affecting the same way pollution to the environment, thus harming animals of the marine and terrestrial fauna, the lack of preventive measures for its workers causes accidents to occur, given that an analysis was made of the impacts of oil companies in Ecuador as tools of sustainability that indicate the fundamental thing that it is to have measures of prevention necessary for companies engaged in this activity since they are continuously linked to risk.
