Abstract

The present study allowed us to analyze all information related to inventories, including its importance, emphasizing why it should have an optimal control that allows reducing costs and therefore generating greater profitability. Inventory control is a very common problem in companies and generates either inventory expenses incurred in maintenance due to excess product, or otherwise the lack of supply of stock on time that directly affects customers causing these be lost due to the poor service provided. The analysis allowed us to suggest proposals within the existing inventory system in the company that will allow us to optimize resources associated with the inventory, thus being able to maintain a level commensurate with the demand in the market.
