dc.description	The Circunvalación Sur from the Palmeras Avenue to The Americas Avenue is not in optimal conditions in road infrastructure consequently the need of a study that help us to the rehabilitation and management, optimizing the available resources in order to maintain a functional and structural way to the progress and development of good living of the people passing through the road and its environment. Hence the need to develop the technical project with the objective of designing a system of road maintenance based on the Ecuadorian Road norm NEVI-12 thereby contributing to the future implementation of the project. This research project was made with the help of scientific articles, books, technical data provided by the (G.A.D) Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de Machala, National Traffic Agency that helped to support and contribute to the realization of the studies; likewise the topography and research in the area. The several studies conducted on the way were: Counting Traffic (AADT), Pavement Condition Index (PCI), Studio speeds, vertical signaling Study (IES) and horizontal signage and a study of accidentally; with the results of the various studies were allowed to apply a system of appropriate and optimal maintenance through an alternative of routine and corrective maintenance accomplishing with the permissible technical specifications that provide security and comfort to users thus prolonging the useful life of the road already designed.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La Avenida Circunvalación Sur Desde La Avenida Las Palmeras Hasta La Avenida Las Américas no se encuentra en condiciones óptimas en su infraestructura vial por ello la necesidad de realizar un estudio que nos ayude a la rehabilitación y gestión, optimizando los recursos disponibles con el fin de mantener una vía funcional y estructural para el progreso y desarrollo del buen vivir de las personas que transitan por la vía y su entorno. Por ello la necesidad de desarrollar este proyecto técnico con el objetivo de Diseñar un Sistema de Mantenimiento Vial basado en la Norma Ecuatoriana Vial NEVI-12 contribuyendo así para la futura ejecución del proyecto. La investigación de este proyecto se lo realizó con ayuda de artículos científicos, libros, datos técnicos facilitados por el (G.A.D) Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de Machala, Agencia Nacional de Transito que ayudaron a respaldar y aportar para la realización de los estudios; igualmente la topografía e investigaciones realizados en el campo. Los diversos estudios que se realizaron en la vía fueron: Conteo de Tráfico (TPDA), Índice de Condición del Pavimento (PCI), Estudio de Velocidades, Estudio de señalización vertical (IES) y señalización horizontal y un estudio de accidentalidad; con los resultados obtenidos de los diversos estudios permitieron emplear un sistema de mantenimiento adecuado y óptimo mediante una alternativa de mantenimiento rutinario y correctivo cumpliendo con las especificaciones técnicas tolerables que den seguridad y confort a los usuarios prolongando así la vida útil de la vía ya diseñada.	es_ES
