dc.description	In this paper a case study, which will be analyzed and shown in a simulation using CISCO devices and proprietary software these devices to perform simulations "Packet Tracer" arises. This software allows the configuration of CISCO devices using CISCO IOS firmware, these devices can be Router or Switches. Case Study presents a topology from 8 Routers (ISP, HQ, WEST, EAST, BRANCH1, BRANCH2, Branch 3 and Branch 4), 7 and 7 PCs Switches, requests that the network address 188.16.0.0/16 to subnet divides and the IP address of the network shown in the diagram proposed for this should take into account the number of each LAN Host and protocol to be used is the static routing, which allows manually configure assigning addresses in the topology. The LAN with the highest number of host's HQ with a subnet of 1000 host to which it will be used as reference for the number of bits to use and remove the subnet mask, it is also important to note that the way they connect Router is the serial port between them and the hosts on the Ethernet ports, this facilitates the identification and configuration of each of the routers.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	En el presente trabajo se plantea un Caso de Estudio, el cual será analizado y representado en una simulación utilizando dispositivos CISCO y el software propietario de estos dispositivos para realizar simulaciones “PACKET TRACER”. Este software permite la configuración de los dispositivos CISCO mediante su firmware CISCO IOS, estos dispositivos pueden ser Router o Switches. El Caso de Estudio presenta una topología entre 8 Routers (ISP, HQ, OESTE, ESTE, BRANCH1, BRANCH2, BRANCH3 y BRANCH4), 7 Switches y 7 PCs, pide que se divida la dirección de red 188.16.0.0/16 para la subred y la dirección IP de las redes que se muestran en el diagrama propuesto, para esto se debe tener en cuenta el número de Host en cada LAN y el protocolo que se va a utilizar es el de enrutamiento estático, el cual configura de forma manual las direcciones a asignar en la topología de red. La LAN con el mayor número de host es HQ con una subred de 1000 host a la cual se usará como referencia para saber el número de bits a utilizar y sacar la máscara de subred, también es importante resaltar que la forma en que se conectan los Router es por el puerto serial entre sí y los hosts en los puertos Ethernet, esto facilita la identificación y la configuración de cada uno de los Routers.	es_ES
