Resumen:
This research work evaluates the production of the shrimp sector in the contribution to the economic growth of Ecuador 2011-2021. The objective is to contribute directly to the economic growth of the country for a better development. The theoretical part of it analyzes the production, Gross Domestic Product and Gross Value Added, importance and contribution. The research methodology executed is of an analytical-deductive nature since, the object of study assimilates each of its parts individually to analyze them and likewise it is of a descriptive nature in such a way that it narrates and identifies important facts. As a result, the research identified the significant contribution of the shrimp sector to the country as a source of development for both.

El presente trabajo de investigación evalúa la producción del sector camaronero en la contribución del crecimiento económico del Ecuador 2011-2021. Dicho objetivo es buscar contribuir directamente al crecimiento económico del país para un mejor desarrollo. La parte teórica del mismo analiza la producción, Producto Interno Bruto y Valor Agregado Bruto, importancia y aportación. La metodología de investigación ejecutada es de carácter analítico-deductiva puesto que, el objeto de estudio asimila cada una de sus partes individualmente para analizarlas y así mismo es de carácter descriptiva de tal manera que narra e identifica hechos importantes. Como resultado, la investigación identificó la significativa aportación del sector camaronero hacia el país como una fuente de desarrollo para ambos.
