dc.description	This work called COMPLICATIONS AND SEQUELS OF HYPERTENSIVE DISORDERS IN MOTHER, FETUS, AND NEWBORN aims to identify the difficulties and effects caused by hypertensive disorders in pregnant women and to obtain statistical data of this pathology at a global and local level. The methodology applied to perform this work is the review of scientific journals, INEC, and the World Health Organization, acquiring relevant information on the complications and sequelae of this pathology, as well as information on mortality at the global and national levels. The deductions obtained were as follows, worldwide preeclampsia and eclampsia is located within the first three causes of death, accounting for 50,000 pregnant women, which means according to WHO 12% of eclampsia of the total 80% cause Death from this disease. Among the most frequent hypertensive diseases of pregnancy is preeclampsia / eclampsia because it can cause damage in the future mother or the newborn fetus, resulting in death. The following classification was investigated: Gestational Hypertension, Preeclampsia, mild and severe preeclampsia, chronic hypertension, chronic hypertension plus over-pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, and hypertension HELLP. We also identified the complications that produce these disorders in the mother: renal failure, hepatic hematoma / rupture, cerebral hemorrhage, among others, and in the fetus or newborn: intrauterine growth retardation, fetal death, prematurity.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo denominado COMPLICACIONES Y SECUELAS DE LOS TRASTORNOS HIPERTENSIVOS EN LA MADRE, EL FETO, Y EL RECIÉN NACIDO tiene como objetivo identificar las dificultades y efectos que causan los trastornos hipertensivos en mujeres embarazadas y obtener datos estadísticos de esta patología a nivel mundial y local. La metodología aplicada para realizar este trabajo es la revisión de revistas científicas, INEC, y de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, adquiriendo información relevante de las complicaciones y secuelas de esta patología, así como también la información de la mortalidad a nivel mundial y nacional. Las deducciones obtenidas fueron las siguientes, a nivel mundial la preeclampsia y eclampsia se ubica dentro de las tres primeras causas de muerte cobrando la vida de 50.000 mujeres embarazadas lo que significa según la OMS el 12% de eclampsia del total de 80% de causa de muerte por esta enfermedad. Entre las enfermedades hipertensivas más frecuentes del embarazo es la preeclampsia/eclampsia porque puede producir daño en la futura madre o el feto- recién nacido, teniendo como consecuencia la muerte. Según la guía de práctica clínica de los trastornos hipertensivos del Ministerio de Salud Pública del Ecuador 2013 se investigó la siguiente clasificación: Hipertensión gestacional, preeclampsia, preeclampsia leve y grave, hipertensión crónica, hipertensión arterial crónica más pre-eclampsia sobreañadida, eclampsia y síndrome de HELLP. También se identificaron las complicaciones que producen estos trastornos en la madre: insuficiencia renal, hematoma/ruptura hepática, hemorragia cerebral, entre otras, y en el feto o recién nacido: retraso de crecimiento intrauterino, muerte fetal, prematuridad.	es_ES
