In Enriqueta Wind of Laniado Education Unit located in the northern sector of the city of Machala El Oro province, after conducting an analysis of the needs in the area of technology, it could be identified shortcomings with the wired network infrastructure it did not meet proper standards, detecting the main novelty that the cable is category 5e, also could determine the lack of a wireless network, in such circumstances it was decided to re-engineer the wired network infrastructure based on the standard GIGABIT ETHERNET and the implementation of a wireless network infrastructure based on the IEEE 802.11ac in a way that contributes to the improvement of administrative and school processes, enabling rapid and timely development of their activities normally through the implementation of the hybrid infrastructure. The project was based on two standards, each according to the needs of network type; the Gigabit Ethernet wired network specific standard I use to provide greater information transmission and faster. IEEE 802.11ac, specific to the wireless network for used it because it provides faster transfer speeds and has greater range. Using these two standards allows data traffic is much more efficient, faster, also allowing resource-saving device because its coverage is higher, and that information is sent safely and in a timely manner. To solve the above problems ipv4 address using a star topology and physical network type contemplated, allowing each computer work in an independent manner. The whole design of the hybrid network was performed and verified in Packet Tracer while obtaining packet traffic and data was obtained, through Wireshark program, which allowed determining the performance of both networks, generating so an efficient, safe and sound infrastructure. Therefore reengineering the wired network and wireless network deployment in the educational unit Enriqueta De Wind De Laniado, culminating successfully, and meeting the expectations of the academic community was held.es_ES
