Descripción : The research work is on the formation and elimination of biofilm in the distribution network of Santa Marianita, which pollutes the drinking water of which caters the section, was then raised this research with the goal of alleviating the formation of biofilm formed on the network by improving the quality of drinking wáter. Cuts are made in the network to verify the existence of biofilm and in what quantity is in it, with the cuts we discovered a layer of 0.5mm and the other 0.8mm approximately in the pipes cut in 2 different points. It was subsequently proceeded to perform analysis in the laboratory to the water, and daily checks of chlorine and ph which they said the water was low rate of residual chlorine, not between the ranges indicated the standard Inen 1108. To improve this is opted to perform injection of chlorine through a hipoclorador tank, this would help to restore the indices of chlorine in the network of Sta. Marinita, but the company responsible for the drinking water cuts the supply of water per hour, it should store the water in a water tank for there inject chlorine and that water to continue its journey toward the housing sector. This must be done at the beginning of distribution network, as well the normal rates of chlorine in drinking water will travel the entire network in Santa Marianitas. With this option are expected solve the problems found in Sta. Marianitas, thereby improving the quality of drinking water.
