The present project called "Muralism as a representative element in a society in cyberbullying" has considered the technique of acrylic on the mural for its construction. Thus, according to the history of Art, the mural begins with cave paintings in the Paleolithic period, being made with a meaning of everyday life impregnating symbols in caves made with native pigments typical of their time; later in the Gothic, this period was not of great contribution, rather, it declined, due to the tendency to use stained glass windows and in this way, there was less space for painting on the wall, mostly painted on board. In Ecuador there is a variety of muralists, with different styles and proposals, leading the viewer to be part of this daily, exposed to the public 24 hours a day. As an artistic muralist reference is the artist Paúl Toledo from the city of Santo Domingo, known as Bless in the artistic world, his style is realistic, he shows in his works on a large scale, about Ecuadorian cultures and identity, traveling from city to city, leaving a mark in each place with a different artistic proposal, but with the same purpose, to revive the ancestral culture and customs of Ecuador. The methodology used in this artistic proposal was shared by social platforms, such as Facebook, in which it was intended to publicize the incidence on the acts that cause bullying in social networks, whether these are in children, young people and adults, where many of these come to have psychological damages that can lead to death. In Ecuador, 1 in 5 students between the ages of 11 and 18 has been a victim of bullying, according to the study Peer Violence in the Education System: An In-Depth Look at Bullying in Ecuador, presented by the Ministry of Education with the support of World Vision and UNICEF. According to the newspaper La Hora the figures of the Ministry of Education, from 2014 to May 28, 2018, that is, in four years, there are 1,461 cases of bullying in the country. 48.8% of women suffer from bullying compared to 48.7% of men, being between 10 and 14 years old the ages where these abuses are most concentrated. The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC), reveals that 23% of children and adolescents lived cases of bullying, and 7% of cyberbullying. This degree work aims to raise awareness among the educational community, society and parents about the subject that many of them go unnoticed. Reflecting through the mural one of the most serious and constant consequences that is cyberbullying, for this elements have been used that symbolically represent the victim as the harasser or aggressor. The idea of the proposal of the mural on a social case arises from the need that there are no artistic productions in our place in which social issues are addressed and with this it is sought to become awareness in the citizenship.es_ES
