Descripción : La Reserva Ecológica Arenillas, se ubicada entre los cantones Arenillas y Huaquillas de la provincia de El Oro al suroccidente del Ecuador cerca de la frontera con Perú, sin duda alguna es uno de los bosques secos más importantes del Ecuador que se encuentra en pleno desarrollo generando un ecoturismo sostenible y responsable por parte de la comunidad y los turistas que visitan la reserva ecológica, además de garantizar que la reserva sea un potencial turístico para toda la provincia de El Oro. Por ello la presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar el potencial turístico de la Reserva Ecológica Arenillas. Se empleó el método deductivo – descriptivo además de la metodología de jerarquización de atractivos y espacios geográficos Mintur, 2017; las mismas que ayudaron a determinar mediante las técnicas utilizadas el potencial turístico de la reserva que está en sus recursos naturales; pues poseen diversidad de flora y fauna, que permiten el desarrollo de ecoturismo
Resumen : The Arenillas Ecological Reserve, located between the Arenillas and Huaquillas cantons of the El Oro province in the southwest of Ecuador near the border with Peru, is undoubtedly one of the most important dry forests in Ecuador that is in full development generating sustainable and responsible ecotourism on the part of the community and tourists who visit the ecological reserve, in addition to ensuring that the reserve is a tourist potential for the entire province of El Oro. For this reason, the main objective of this research is to determine the tourist potential of the Arenillas Ecological Reserve. The deductive-descriptive method was used in addition to the methodology of ranking attractions and geographical spaces Mintur, 2017; the same ones that helped to determine through the techniques used the tourist potential of the reserve that is in its natural resources; They have a diversity of flora and fauna, which allow the development of ecotourism.
