| Descripción : | INTRODUCCION: La fibrilación auricular es la arritmia supraventricular más prevalente y constituye una causa importante de morbilidad, principalmente en adultos mayores de 65 años, por lo que realizar un correcto diagnóstico y manejo de la misma le permitirá al paciente una mejor calidad de vida y una mayor supervivencia. OBJETIVO: Describir las diferentes estrategias de tratamiento en pacientes con fibrilación auricular aguda mediante la revisión bibliográfica de artículos científicos para ampliar el conocimiento actual de la misma. MÉTODO: se realizó una búsqueda de últimas bibliografías utilizando bases de datos científicas como: PubMed, MESH, COCHRANE, NCB, NIH y Medscape para recopilar información acerca de las estrategias actuales existentes para el tratamiento de la Fibrilación auricular aguda, utilizando artículos científicos desde el 2016 hasta la actualidad. CONCLUSION: Existen distintas modalidades para el tratamiento de la Fibrilación auricular aguda, sin embargo, éste debe realizarse de manera individualizada y en función a la situación hemodinámica del paciente, sus factores de riesgo, patologías sobreañadidas, edad del paciente y objetivos a lograr con el mismo, constituyendo la piedra angular en el control del ritmo, el control de la frecuencia cardiaca y la terapia anticoagulante, además existen tratamientos quirúrgicos que pueden realizarse para el control de la enfermedad. |
| Resumen : | INTRODUCTION: Atrial fibrillation is the most prevalent supraventricular arrythmia and constitutes an important cause of morbidity, mainly in adults over 65 years of age, so a correct diagnosis and management of it will allow the patient a better quality of life and a longer survival. OBJECTIVE: To describe the different treatment strategies in patients with acute atrial fibrillation by means of the bibliographic review of scientific articles in order to expand current knowledge of it. METHOD: A search of the latest bibliographies was performed using scientific databases such as: PubMed, MESH, COCHRANE, NCB, NIH and Medscape to gather information about the current strategies available for the treatment of Acute Atrial Fibrillation, using scientific articles from 2016 to the present. CONCLUSION: There are different modalities for the treatment of Acute Atrial Fibrillation, however, this should be done in an individualized way and according to the hemodynamic situation of the patient, his risk factors, added pathologies, age of the patient and objectives to be achieved with the patient, being that the angular treatment consists of: the control of the rhythm, the control of the heart rate and the anticoagulant therapy, in addition there are surgical treatments that can be done for the control of the disease. |
