Programa de turismo sostenible en la comuna Pejeyacu para la sostenibilidad de sus recursos naturales

Abstract

The present research work has been carried out in the Pejeyacu commune belonging to the Chilla canton of the province of El Oro, which has as main objective to develop a sustainable tourism program to promote sustainability through the good use and use of natural resources, that through a thorough analysis of the baseline that corresponds to the area of tourist importance of the Pejeyacu commune. With the methodology of on-site visit to the area considered, the main tourist attractions with which the commune has been identified, among them the Song of the toucan trail, the Pejeyacu river and the activities that tourists can perform, be they photography, hiking , camping, bird watching and the enjoyment of the nature that surrounds the site, therefore, it is considered feasible to apply the sustainable tourism program to preserve and conserve natural resources, boost the economy of the community through tourism promotion . The purpose of this research work is to provide a program with viable strategies that guarantee the sustainability of the use of natural resources, taking advantage of all the tourism potential that the area enjoys and granting the possibility of generating economic income to the inhabitants, prioritizing the conservation of natural resources.
