It would be important to mention that throughout history our planet has undergone a series of natural phenomena that these have caused considerable damages, as it can indicate the earthquake of 20 of April of the 2016 which I cause great damages irrecoverable seeing them from the point of view Engineer Taking into account the consequences or damages that can cause natural phenomena we would point out that structural analysis is of great importance in any type of civil work, because it is the process by which we decree the responses of a structure in case of seismic loads that are Described in the Ecuadorian standard NEC-SD-DS, is to determine the basal shear which acts at the base of the structure and is important because it is distributed as horizontal forces acting on the floors of the building, also having dead load and live. To this end, the present work will explain the structural analysis and design of a four-story building using the stiffness method, or also called matrix, which is applied to hyperelastic structures of bars that behave in an elastic and linear manner, based on forces or Displacements. The design is based on the NEC 2015 standards, where we find the pre-dimensioning of the columns and beams as will be shown later in the development and also the seismic hazard norms NEC-SE-DS to be able to counteract the forces that could alter the building to future.es_ES
