Descripción : Taxes are part of the present but they date back a long time, since the time of the feudal lords, one of these and very important is that of the income tax, which charges a tax on the income obtained by a Taxpayer due to the activity Or economic activities that it develops during a period, being able to be person or legal person, also exist the exemptions to the taxes and in the case of the tax on the income are several that grant benefits to the taxpayers contemplated in the one that they have the objective to reduce or Eliminating items with the objective of not taxing the total sum of the tax base for the calculation of the income tax that a taxpayer must cancel due to his economic activity. The present work reflects an analysis of the existing exemptions in Ecuador, contrasting them with those of neighboring countries like Peru and Venezuela, which also contemplate exemptions and exemptions in their corresponding laws to compare the possible benefits and to highlight those of greater relevance for the different taxpayers That give the opportunity to those who can access them to use them appropriately, in accordance with the conditions expressed in the current regulations, to achieve this and contribute in the best way to the economic and social development of a nation.
Resumen : Los impuestos forman parte de la actualidad pero datan desde hace mucho tiempo atrás, desde la época de los señores feudales, uno de estos y muy importante es el del impuesto a la renta, mismo que recauda una imposición a la renta obtenida por un contribuyente debido a la o las actividades económicas que este desarrolle durante un periodo, pudiendo ser persona natural o jurídica, de igual manera existen las exenciones a los impuestos y en el caso del impuesto a la renta son varias que otorgan beneficios a los contribuyentes contempladas en las leyes vigentes, que pretenden reducir o eliminar rubros con el objetivo de que no tributen a la sumatoria total de la base imponible para el cálculo del impuesto a la renta que un contribuyente debería cancelar por su actividad económica. El presente trabajo refleja un análisis de cuáles son las exenciones existentes en el Ecuador contrastándolas con la de los países vecinos como Perú y Venezuela, que también contemplan exenciones y exoneraciones en sus leyes correspondientes para comparar los beneficios posibles y resaltar los de mayor relevancia para los distintos contribuyentes otorgando la oportunidad de quienes puedan acceder a emplearlos de forma adecuada según las condiciones expresas en la normativa vigente logren realizarlo y contribuyan de la mejor manera al desarrollo económico y social de una nación.
